Aim:Execute queries in the Neo4j graph database and in Gephi tool perform the operations of loading csv data, running graph statistics scripts and displaying various graphical layouts.
Theory:
What is
graph data?
In computing,
a graph database(GDB)
is a database that uses graph structures for semantic queries with nodes, edges, and
properties to represent and store data. The graph relates the data items in the store to a collection of nodes and edges,
the edges representing the relationships between the nodes.
How it is stored?
Graph is stored in the form of Nodes and Edges with
their edges weight.
How to visualize graph?
We can Visualize graph with connecting Nodes by
Edges also we can visualize with the graph visual tools.
Describe: List out all types of graph
analytics tools and its application in various domains.
Neo4j Graph :
Neo4j is an
open-source, NoSQL, native graph database that provides an ACID-compliant transactional backend
for your applications. This means that the data is stored exactly as you
whiteboard it, and the database uses pointers to navigate and traverse the graph.
Gephi
Tool:
Gephi is a tool for data
analysts and scientists keen to explore and understand graphs. Like Photoshop
but for graph data, the user interacts with the representation, manipulate the
structures, shapes and colours to reveal hidden patterns.
Gexf format file:
·
In the menubar, go to File Menu and Open...
·
Here we are going to use the sample gexf file
·
Now open gexf file You will get the import
report
·
The import report sum up data found and issues.
· Import Report Contains of Number of nodes, Number of edges, Type of graph
Dataset import from local files
By Clicking on the node we can see other connected nodes and
edges
